Mandatory Internship Requirements For New Graduates

Internship is a requirement for newly qualified graduates of all second-degree holders of any field in psychology. However, the Council has internship sites for only Clinical and Counselling psychology. Applicants for the afore mentioned fields of internship are to complete the internship form with the necessary supporting documents as stated on the form, after which would be contacted by the office on the next step of action.
Any applicant who applies for an internship must do so for one year. Upon completion of the internship, the intern must present a log book containing details of the cases he or she assessed. Log books must be co-signed by internship supervisors. Interns can become registered and licensed to practice after they complete an internship.
